FAQs

  • Yes! It is fully refundable minus the $10 booking fee. Please note, if you cancel within a week of check in there is a $20 late cancelation fee. But TA Travel Consulting will waive that fee if a tournament is cancelled or your Director switches tournaments.

  • You will see two separate charges for your hotel stay. The first charge, listed as "Turnaround Consulting," is part of the stay you paid for upfront when you booked through the link. The second charge comes directly from the hotel at checkout and covers the remaining balance, plus any applicable taxes and fees.

    For example, if your hotel is listed at $150.00 per night on the link and you paid $35 per night at the time of booking, the hotel will collect the remaining $115 per night plus taxes when you check out. When combined, these two charges add up to the total cost of your stay. This process helps clarify your payment breakdown and ensures there are no surprises when settling your bill.

  • Hotels need advance notice so they have enough time to offer and sell any rooms that the group does not reserve. Remember, you can adjust your reservation for no charge AFTER the schedule comes out all the way up to 72 hours in advance of check in.

  • To modify your reservation, first locate the original confirmation email sent from mailer@eventpipe.com when you made your booking. If you’re unable to find it, try searching your inbox for “booking confirmation.” Once found, use the blue “online” hyperlink within the email to update your reservation details. If your check-in is less than 72 hours away, please contact your hotel liaison directly via email. Be sure to include the first and last name on the reservation so they can assist you with any changes.

  • Yes, you can add your reward or membership number when you make your reservation using the provided link. If you forget to add it during booking, you can also have the hotel staff include your number on your receipt either when you check in or check out. You will get the points!

  • When you check in, ask the hotel staff how much advance notice they require to give you a full refund for any nights you cancel. Let the hotel know as soon as possible that you plan to check out a day early (if needed), making sure to follow their cancellation policy. Afterward, email your TA Travel Consultant hotel liaison (whose contact information can be found on your team's communications platform) to request a refund for the unused night(s) you paid for in advance.

  • Our group rate will be lower than the rates you’ll find on hotel websites (hilton.com, igh.com, or marriott.com). While it’s possible you may occasionally see slightly cheaper rooms on third-party booking sites such as Expedia or Booking.com, booking within our group block is better for us overall. Hotels give priority to group reservations over individual bookings, so if any issues come up, our group’s needs will be addressed first.

  • No! Our blocks are part of a separate system, and the hotels do not make “real time” changes to group blocks. Your reservation will be confirmed, and your hotel app will update once our hotel contacts update the group block. Please do not make changes in the hotel app or call the hotel directly. If you have any concerns, feel free to contact your TA Travel Consultant hotel liaison and they can help!

  • Your dedicated TA Travel Consultant hotel liaison can check your bill post your stay. TA Consulting’s contract with the hotel protects you and if needed we can correct and reverse any charges. Simply email us the receipt from your stay, and we will ensure everything is correct. If there’s an issue, we’ll take care of it promptly!
